Self reflection over essay 1

 

“For my essay, I used the clustering invention technique and found it easier than my usual brainstorming because of how easily it shows the connection of the topics. Although I didn’t use all the topics I listed, there were plenty to choose from. While I would’ve appreciated feedback, I missed the deadline for my rough draft. So, unfortunately no feedback was used.

With my rough draft, I focused more on the flow and backbone of my essay than the citations and quotes. This way, for the final essay I was able to add quotes anywhere they were necessary and tweak my wording to fit them. The only true issue I encountered was citations, which is why my rough draft excluded them. However, I found that it wasn’t as complicated as I thought. On the next major assignment I am going to meet the deadline so that I can receive feedback"
